Karla Gray

Karla Gray was hired in 1993 to lead the Carroll County Learning Center as their Executive Director and was tasked with increasing the revenue of the Center while providing much needed services to children and adults with Developmental Disabilities.

Ms. Gray has a bachelor’s degree in special education from the University of Arkansas and a Master of Science in Education degree from the University of Missouri as an Early Childhood Specialist.

She has promoted early childhood education and development throughout the counties in our area with hosting random Child Check Clinics to qualify for developmental services, visiting kindergarten roundups, and serving in various capacities in statewide groups intended to work on creating funding for Early Childhood services in the state of Arkansas.

Ms. Gray is a tireless advocate of Early Childhood Services and believes in the quality of Pre-K education as children are prepared for kindergarten.  This is evident by her love of reading and the creation of libraries in the Centers for children to check out books to take home.

She looks forward to the expansion of The Learning Center of North Arkansas to serve more children in our area.
